Honoring all of the men and women who died while serving our country. Their sacrifices have earned them our everlasting heartfelt gratitude.  Here’s a bit of Trader Vic’s history… 


During the “War Years” in the 1940’s, Trader Vic’s Oakland became a hangout for Navy fliers going out of Alameda. They were always given VIP service. Look up at the ceiling in the lounge at Trader Vic’s Emeryville and you will see the barstool borrowed by the VF-64 Freelancers fighter squadron along with other mementos with the names of Trader Vic's employees who served.
