Happy Presidents Day! JFK stopped by…. Chef Dubois Chen whipped up a meal for President Gerald Ford… President Nixon was known to enjoy a Crab Rangoon or two from time to time!

Trader Vic's holds a storied  connection to the highest office in the land! Over the decades, our tables have welcomed a stream of notable figures, including U.S. Presidents, creating unforgettable—and often confidential—moments in the annals of our history.

We have the pleasure of recalling that President John F. Kennedy (JFK) stopped by on occasion, while the specifics of his orders remain the stuff of legend and discreet waiters, the knowledge of his visit adds a distinguished note to our lore.

A more culinary-focused encounter involved President Gerald Ford. We are proud to say that Chef Dubois Chen had the distinct honor of whipping up a memorable meal for the 38th President.

And finally, we must mention President Richard Nixon, well-circulated, delightful fact that President Nixon was known to enjoy a Crab Rangoon or two from time to time!

Trader Vic's has been a backdrop to pieces of American history, all served up with a Mai Tai and a touch of the tropics.
