Brazilian Carnival is an annual, week-long festival (running from the Friday before to Ash Wednesday) known as the world's largest party, featuring vibrant samba parades, elaborate costumes, and massive street parties called blocos.
Cachaça cocktails are Brazilian drinks made with cachaça, a spirit distilled from fresh sugarcane juice, with the most famous being the Caipirinha, which muddled lime and sugar with cachaça and ice. Other popular variations include the Batida, which adds fruit pulp and coconut milk, and the Caipiroska, which substitutes vodka for cachaça. These cocktails are known for being refreshing and tropical, with a unique grassy and fruity flavor from the cachaça.
