The Diablo Po’o Mug reinterprets the classic Trader Vic’s Skull Mug through the unmistakable eye of the late Daniel “Tiki Diablo” Gallardo, one of the artists who helped shape the modern tiki revival
Daniel initially sculpted this piece in 2019, releasing an exclusive limited run to collectors at our Emeryville location in November of that year.
Building on success of our initial partnership with Tiki Diablo, he licensed his creation to us in 2024, leading into full production by early 2025. Though deeply saddened by his loss, we take pride in honoring and carrying forward his remarkable legacy.
And because a mug like this deserves a drink with some character, fill it with a Diablo Grog. Pineapple, citrus, dark rum, pimento dram, and cinnamon bring spice, depth, and just enough heat to match the mug.
Diablo Grog
- ¾ oz lime juice
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- ½ oz pimento dram
- ½ oz cinnamon syrup
- ¾ oz pineapple amaro
- 1 oz Pineapple Rum
- 1 oz Trader Vic’s Dark Rum
Shake with crushed ice and pour into your Skull Mug.
Garnish with a dusting of ground cinnamon, cinnamon stick, and pineapple wedge.
