Did you know that the United Arab Emirates was one of the first international homes for Trader Vic’s in the Middle East?

While Trader Vic’s Madinat in Dubai—nestled within the beautiful Souk Madinat Jumeirah—opened its doors in September 2004, it wasn’t the first location in the UAE. In fact, our island-style hospitality has been thriving in the Emirates for three decades.

It All Started in 1994

The very first Trader Vic’s in the UAE launched in Abu Dhabi in 1994, marking the beginning of our footprint in the region. With its exotic ambiance, bold global cuisine, and signature tropical cocktails, the brand quickly became a favorite among locals and expats alike.

A Growing Island Empire

Today, the UAE is home to four Trader Vic’s locations, each offering its own blend of Polynesian flair and unforgettable experiences:

🌺 Trader Vic’s Abu Dhabi – The original UAE outpost, opened in 1994 at Beach Rotana
🌺 Trader Vic’s Al Ain – An oasis in the Garden City, opened in 1999
🌺 Trader Vic’s Madinat – Dubai’s favorite island escape since 2004
🌺 Trader Vic’s Hilton Dubai Palm – The newest addition, serving up waterfront views and iconic tiki classics

Island Hospitality, Middle East Style

From the bustling streets of Dubai to the relaxed charm of Al Ain, each Trader Vic’s in the UAE offers an authentic escape—featuring signature Mai Tais, world-famous pupus, and an atmosphere inspired by the South Pacific.

So whether you're living in the Emirates or just passing through, you’re never far from paradise.
